Alpha Christmas: Chapter Two,Sir Gilbert

The whole world was white. Snow blow around in flurries. The animals trudged though chalk white fluff past their knees.

As she drew a picture of a rabbit in the snow, Peck imaged the world surrounding her was her art supplies. To her, the snow was a blank canvass, a clean sheet of paper. It was almost like she was getting a chance to start again on Greely. Peck snatched up a handful of snow and rolled it around and around in her paws. The result, a perfect snowball. It reminded her greatly of clay, it starts with just a plan old lumpy brick, but with a little care, you can turn it into anything.

"Peck! Come on!"
That was Liza. Peck could just barely make out her shape though the fog. She abandoned her snowball and darted up to the Panda Alpha.
"It's freezing out here. No time to play in the snow!"
Peck looked up at Liza. Frost speckled her fur, and the hood of her coat was pulled way up.Liza seemed to think the blizzard was holding them back. Maybe she just didn't see the purity of it. Not everyone could make that kind of connection like Peck.

"Ok."
Peck announced.
"Sir Gilberts first."
Liza was a little taken aback. Confronting this great warrior would not be an easy task. Sir Gilbert was kind, and yes, many are surprised when they find out  just how polite he is, but Liza found it hard to believe he would approve Pecks idea. Sir Gilbert never thought Peck should of been an Alpha.
In fact, She couldn't really image anyone approving of Pecks idea. It was just so... out there. So different. Liza worried for Peck, she was just so innocent, unaware of all that could go wrong.

The duo lumbered though the snow, Peck skipping, laughing and singing, Liza worrying. It was just Natural for Sir Gilbert to disapprove of Peck, he a warrior, she an artist who was absent at the phantom battle. But whatever the reason, Peck was not bothered by this prominent fact.

The snow thinned out into a thin frost, and then disappeared interiorly.Liza and Peck found  themselves in Crystal Sands.

At once, Peck flicked of her coat and plummeted down a slide.
"Peck!'
Liza shouted.
"Come back here!'
Sir Gilbert would think even less of Peck if she came in to his cave dripping wet. But the bunny wouldn't listen. She landed in the ocean with a "SPASH" and begin chatting furiously with a group of rabbits.

Liza sighed. It was Pecks idea to come here, and now she didn't even seem to care about Greely! The Panda Alpha wanted to just walk off and let Peck do this on her own. After all, that was the original plan.

But something held Liza back. Peck got distracted easily, that was all. She did really care about the Party. Peck did really care about Greely. And the more Liza thought about that, she started to care, too. Lost in thought, Liza blindly distended down the slope and entered Sir Gilbert's cave.

"Liza. What a pleasure to see you."
Sir Gilberts voice was as deep as the ocean.
"You too, Sir Gilbert. Merry Christmas!"
The great tiger warrior nodded but didn't take his eyes of the water slide. It didn't take a genius like Graham to figure out he was starring at Peck. Liza needed to act fast.
"We are having a party again."
She bust out.
"Oh, I would enjoy that so."
Sir Gilbert shifted his weight and looked Liza in the eyes. He was kind of intimidating.
"Now, I must have the details. Does it cover multiple days like last year?"
"Yes, it's a sleepover again!"
Liza's heart fluttered. It would only be so long before he asked-
"And where is this party to be held?'
Liza swallowed hard. She took a deep breath.
"Its at my art studio."
Peck! Liza spun her head around and saw the rabbit Alpha, ears flopping, fur dripping, covered in pain. Peck, funny looking and rebellious  had just saved Liza from the most awkward moment of her life. Liza mouthed the words,
"Thank You!"
and turned to face Sir Gilbert.
The warriors eyes narrowd. There was not hiding that fact that he didn't like Peck.
"Of coarse."
Sir Gilbert stated. The tone of his voice was as cold as the snow they had just left.
"So... Will we see you there?'
Liza inquired, flashing a fake smile.
"I suppose."
Sir Gilbert looked at his claws. He was becoming board.
"Ok!Great!"
Liza waved goodbye to the tiger Alpha, who shoot Peck a haunting look. The rabbit responded by sticking out her tongue. Liza efficiently ushered Peck out of the cave. Once they were out of ear shoot of Sir Gilbert, Liza gave her thanks to the rabbit Alpha.
"Hey Peck. Thanks for saving my but!"
"Don't mention it!"
Peck shrugged.
"Hey, and heads up, tell people the parties at my place. We can start there and move on to his cave. They are so close!"
Liza nodded and patted Peck on the back. Everything was going to be just fine.
